From April 27th it is possible to request a change of residence, in the same municipality or between different municipalities, and repatriation from abroad also through SPID, the Public Digital Identity System.
NIn the interest of speeding up and ensuring greater security for citizens, after testing in 31 Italian municipalities , starting from April 27th it is officially possible to request a change of residence online throughout Italy through the National Registry of Resident Population ( ANPR ) portal, accessing with your SPID credentials. Not only that: those who are registered with AIRE will also be able to request repatriation from abroad.
The only municipality currently excluded from this process is Rome, which is iran phone number list completing some technical processes to make the procedure safe.
It is also possible to download 14 types of registry certificates online (for yourself or your family) including birth registry certificates and civil status certificates.

How does the change of residence with SPID work?
By entering directly into the National Registry of Resident Population (ANPR) portal, and selecting one of the registry services available to adult citizens registered with ANPR, two requests will be available:
Change of residence for transfer from one municipality to another, or for the repatriation of Italian citizens registered with AIRE;
Change of residence within the same municipality.
