The screen does not boast an ultra-high resolution

Post by bartubjot@neko2.net »

While Android manufacturers are trying to figure out how to position their phone-tablets (and what to call them), some companies are striking a blow from behind. Razer Edge Pro is certainly a tablet, but on a platform that is extremely strange for this type, which until recently was the standard for PCs and was commonly called Wintel (Windows OS + Intel CPU). And not just Intel, this is a Core i7, and Nvidia GT 640M is responsible for graphics. The 10-inch tablet is quite comparable in power to a gaming laptop and, in fact, is intended for games.
(1366x768), but it will give many notebook counterparts a run for their money in terms of image quality. The RAM is generous - 8 GB, and the built-in memory is from 128 to 256 GB.

All this power has an obvious downside - the gadget weighs almost a kilogram and, if you hold it in the air all the time, turns into a real dumbbell. Connecting the optional controller (which looks like two additional handles on the sides) generally increases the weight almost twice. Instead, you can connect a regular Xbox 360-compatible joystick (or even two). Other options include a docking station and a keyboard.

The impression of the device is mixed, because PC electrical contractors email lists games are not very suitable for touchscreens, and the use of separate joysticks negates the advantages that mobility provides.

Nokia Asha 501

The Finnish company does not seem to want to part with its laurels as the most multi-platform. The Windows-based Lumia line enjoys its share of popularity in developed countries, and for poorer countries Nokia has its own development – the Asha platform (née Series 40).

The Asha 501 phone can, in principle, be called a smartphone, but you shouldn’t expect miracles from it. The 3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320x240, however, copes well with its duties. Oddly enough, the compactness does not interfere, for example, with surfing the Internet (however, you can open no more than 6 tabs at a time). 128 MB of built-in memory and 64 MB of RAM are not enough, but for Series 40 it is perfectly enough, and you can also connect a memory card.

There are also applications for Facebook, Twitter, you can search for additional ones in the store - the presence of Wi-Fi simplifies the task. It is a pity that there is no 3G module. By the way, the phone has a MicroSIM slot, potential buyers need to be careful. Equipped with Asha 501 and a camera with a resolution of 3.2 megapixels, the usual quality for cheap phones (mediocre).

LG G2
South Korea is well known in the world for its industrial giants - corporations-chaebols. One of them, Samsung, rules the roost in the smartphone market. The other, LG, dreams of catching up and is doing everything possible to achieve its goal, for example, presenting the G2 model.

The new flagship, apparently, will set the tone for all future models with its design and hardware and software solutions. The smartphone is equipped, as befits the leader of the line, richly: Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with four Krait 400 cores at 2.3 GHz, Adreno 330 is responsible for graphics. RAM 2 GB, built-in memory depending on the modification can be 16 or 32 GB. The screen with a Full HD resolution has a diagonal of 5.2 inches.
It is difficult to surprise users with something outstanding now, even offering the most powerful filling, so you should expect exclusive software solutions from LG, in which you can still compete with competitors.
