I turned my attention to the Swift language . My friend partly fueled my interest. I asked questions, asked for materials, but the knowledge was chaotic, I lacked structure. Then my friend sent me a free course on iOS Dev. I liked the format of the course, but I still lacked motivation, I procrastinated due to the lack of deadlines.

At the beginning of my third year at university, I enrolled in the iOS Dev course from Skillfactory. I wanted to structure my knowledge of programming: I liked the field, I had a desire to understand and develop.

In early October, students were offered an interview at DM-Tech. This is the IT department of a well-known retailer, which focuses on developing its applications and website. The company offered a three-month internship with the possibility of employment. They were looking for people for the iOS Dev direction. I decided to take part in the interview, despite the fact that I had no experience in communicating with a recruiter. As it turned out, it did not matter - what mattered was the experience that I received as a result.

On the appointed day, we called the DM-Tech team. The interview lasted a little less than an hour, and could be divided into two parts.

The first part is the base
At the beginning of the conversation, we discussed standard things: where I study, what I study, how long I have been interested in development. Then we moved on to my background: I told about the university, about additional training at Skillfactory. Then came theoretical questions from HR, they sounded something like this: "Write five lines of code" or "Tell me about this function." I easily dealt with these questions, they did not ask me anything supernatural.
