As the digital age continues to push the mantra of easy information sharing, IT teams must evolve their organization's cybersecurity and protection tools at an equally rapid pace.

Don't bury your head in the sand. Train your people, evolve poland mobile database technology, and don't wait until it's too late to prioritize and protect your most important assets, urges Johanna Baum, founder and CEO of S3 Consulting, on InformationWeek.
We live in a digital age, fully documented by social media. We value speed over security. We value convenient food delivery over financial security. We want digital contact with the world without regard for the privacy implications. What could go wrong?
In 2020, we were forced to fully embrace the (once glamorized) digital lifestyle by sanctioning remote work. Organizations that were previously unprepared for this massive technology shift were forced to adapt to a distributed remote workforce, and the world became a different place from a security perspective. Even IT teams that were prepared for the digital transition needed targeted investments to recalibrate.
We are holding the line, so to speak.
Security is no longer something that can be done behind the scenes in an IT department or data center. With remote work, employees are now exposed as the first and last line of defense, something they are unprepared for. As a result, IT teams are forced to fight an ever-changing war on an ever-changing battlefield.
