Let's talk about designing process units and developing such important sections as TX, TM, KM, since these are the main project marks. We will not go into details, but will go through frequently asked questions from design engineers. Does PlantLinker have functionality for creating P&ID process diagrams?
There is currently no functionality for creating P&ID process diagrams. And, to be honest, we phone number indonesia are not planning to develop it yet.
We are currently using our interface to Intergraph Smart P&ID. With its help, we can fully transfer the scheme with all the properties, including
What capabilities does PlantLinker provide for developing an information model? What systems can be designed and are there component libraries (pipes, pipeline parts, fittings, process equipment)?
In our system, as in Smart3D and Aveva E3D, there are no component libraries, because they are created based on specifications, rules and catalogs. These objects are formed online during the model construction process.
PlantLinker comes with all the data on fittings and flanges according to all known standards, plus metal catalogs according to GOST and ASME.
Data on pipeline parts and main parts of fittings, such as gate valves, valves, gates, ball valves, etc. are supplied in the form of open format dimensional tables. They can be modified and edited to suit your needs.
Another frequently asked question: is it possible to transfer a 3D model of a process pipeline with parameters to a calculation system? For example, to calculate strength and rigidity or hydraulic calculations?
We work with CAESAR II from Hexagon as we use the PCF file format.
As for the Russian Start-Prof software from NTP Truboprovod, we discussed with them the possibility of creating such functionality. But they implemented it for specific users and do not want to create a universal module. Therefore, if any of the customers request to create such integration, we will be happy to participate. From a technical point of view, there is nothing complicated about it.
How are things going with the development of metal structures (equipment platforms, pipeline racks, service platforms)?
PlantLinker has a fully functional structural design module.
In addition, we fully broadcast the Tekla Environment Russia catalog. That is, users can directly work with Tekla profiles and models.
What reports/statements/specifications can be obtained from PlantLinker? Are they generated using pre-configured templates? Or do users need to configure them themselves?
In this area we have two functionalities. In the first option, you can use a separate module where data is entered and edited in a tabular form. From this module, you can download reports.
The second option, which we are currently actively working on, implements the ability to create reports and specifications directly in the drawing module with the ability to place on a sheet and update according to the model.
