Add your company information
The first step in optimizing your account will be to add more basic information about your business. You do this in the "About" section.
Add as much information about your business as possible: location, opening hours, phone number, website…
Since our example business is classified as an “art cafe,” we have the option to enter multiple URLs for reservations, menus, etc.
Depending on your business category, different settings are available to you.
Add photos & videosThe next step is to upload photos of your business. You can do this in the "Photos" section:
Add logo, cover photo and other images and videos
According to Google, “businesses with photos […] receive 42% more Google searches for directions to their location and 35% more clicks to their websites than businesses without photos.”
There are several types of photos you should consider adding to your GMB account:
Logo: Customers will recognize and find your complete cell phone number list business more easily if you add your company logo.
Cover photo: Choose a photo that best represents your business. This photo has the highest chance of being displayed as your company's profile picture. For a brick-and-mortar store, this might be a photo of the exterior, which makes it easier for customers to find you.
Additional photos: Add as many relevant images of your business as possible. These could be product images, images of your food and drinks, office/store images, interior/exterior images, common areas, etc.
Videos: You can also include videos in your GMB as long as they are less than 30 seconds long, no more than 100 MB in size, and have a resolution of at least 720p.
Be sure to add high-quality photos that accurately depict your business. Photos should be at least 720 pixels wide and 720 pixels high. Learn more about photo or video requirements for your business listings here .
