Capgemini helps improve digital public services

Post by nusaibatara »

Capgemini has launched the eGovernment Benchmark 2019 , its annual research analyzing the availability of digital public services on behalf of the European Commission . The results show that, overall, European governments have succeeded in improving the provision of online services to citizens and businesses, allowing them to interact more frequently with public bodies and benefit from higher-quality services. The study, conducted by Capgemini and carried out in collaboration with Sogeti , IDC , and the Politecnico di Milano , demonstrates that governments are increasingly able to simplify the lives of European citizens thanks to reliable digital public services.

The 16th edition of the eGovernment Benchmark buy bulk sms service continues to shed light on the state of digital transformation in European governments and assesses the extent to which public sector entities are implementing the necessary initiatives to improve the quality of online public services. This year, the services examined are grouped into four "life events": starting a business, managing family matters, losing and finding a job, and studying.
The evaluation of over 10,000 websites from 36 European countries shows that public sector institutions continue to increase the number of services available online. However, trusted interaction channels through which users can communicate, send official documents, and authenticate their credentials are not yet fully implemented. The results also show that transparency can still be improved in terms of service provision, accountability, public entity performance, and their processing of personal data.
