users with different levels of expertise and different points of view.
The Internet also provides an opportunity that many are looking for - to communicate directly with business and government representatives
through online discussions and online voting.
For this purpose,
a special tool was also created in the updated ROCIT – “Voice of Runet”. This is a virtual platform that
created the opportunity to express one’s opinion, influence the quality and speed
of solving public, economic, social and educational problems
related to the IT industry. The main task of “Voice” is to present the official
position of the Internet community on the list of qatar cell phone numbers problems that concern them at the moment
or may affect them in the future.
— And what is the status of such discussions?
— Any
discussion is heard when it is sufficiently representative and constructive.
“The Voice of Runet” managed to organize exactly this kind of discussion. For example, quite
recently “The Voice” hosted a public discussion of the Presidential
Internet Development Program, which is being prepared by the Internet Development Institute (IDI) on
behalf of the President.
Proposals for
the Program are prepared by Internet experts under the coordination of the IRI. As a
result of its discussion - and anyone could join it - it turned out that citizens who actively use the Internet largely
share and support the views of industry experts. The proposed
solutions to existing problems were approved by the majority of respondents.
More than half of respondents (52%) noted that the Internet at this stage does not provide
fast and qualified medical care in hard-to-reach
places. At the same time, many see the potential of this direction of
Internet development. The same number - 52% - supported the development of a paid model of
content consumption (audio, video, images), but only 28% of users
agreed that reducing the availability of pirated media products should
ensure fair competition and the development of domestic producers and
services. Citizens rightly demand from the state and defend their rights
to receive quality services, including online.
The Internet is a great place and tool for this. It allows you to gather in one place many
