ChatGPT, Python and Modern Fashion: How a Stylist from St. Petersburg Uses Neural Networks

Post by Mimakte »

Natalia Gubich studied economics, but got tired of numbers and became a stylist. In this case, the help of neural networks was not superfluous. Natalia shared with the editors her experience of studying Python and ChatGPT, why it is not at all scary and quite fun

My name is Natalia and I have been living in Saint Petersburg for ten years. I am an economist by education and have worked in positions related to this field for a long time: as a chief accountant, auditor in a large company, then I worked in internal control and in the security department. However, over time I realized that all this work with numbers and checks no longer inspired me. I decided to find a new direction for myself that would give me a sense of creativity and novelty.

How I changed my profession and became a stylist
After moving from Murmansk to St. Petersburg, I started uk email database thinking about what I was really interested in. I considered different options, thought about trying myself in style or makeup, even thought about hairdressing and cosmetology. In the end, the choice fell on style, and I started with small steps, attending small courses. The first step was buying an annual subscription to one of the St. Petersburg schools, which offered a variety of courses: photography, screenwriting, basics of directing, marketing and much more. I wanted to understand what would really hook me.

Gradually, I became more and more immersed in style. Small courses were replaced by more serious training at the Moscow Institute of Art Image. This direction turned out to be very dynamic: trends change every season - winter, spring, summer, autumn, and each season brings something new. I often attended master classes, trying to keep up with the latest trends. One day, a good friend of mine invited me to work with her at beauty contests for women over 40. I helped the participants create images for photo shoots, choosing a style and emphasizing their inner beauty. I still enjoy watching their changes on social networks: many of them have become confident, bold, ready to try on something new. At first, they doubted, saying: "I will definitely not wear this!" But, thanks to my advice, they eventually agreed, and the result was obvious.

My passion for neural networks
I continued to develop, and one day I managed to pass a selection competition for the position of a stylist for a famous person. A year of working with him opened new horizons for me. But the most interesting thing began when I first learned about ChatGPT. I once saw how he could write a poem and it really surprised me.

Moreover, at that time I was actively managing my social networks and constantly looking for ideas for posts. And then they showed me how a neural network can help compose a text, divide it into paragraphs, write a gripping story. I thought: how great it would be if such a tool could generate ideas for me every day and write posts, all that would remain is to add photos.

Overcoming fears
This was a turning point for me. I started looking for courses on creating agents based on ChatGPT, became interested in Prompt engineering and came across a master class on this topic. At the master class, the teachers talked about Python, and at first I was shocked. For me, a computer is something completely distant, I already relied on the help of an IT specialist I knew in case of problems. Yes, I was pretty good at Excel and Word, but programming and especially Python seemed like something insurmountable.

I was offered a convenient training option: they would pay off the loan for me until I started earning, provided that I completed all my homework and actively participated. I decided to give it a try. At the same time, I was also following a blogger who was automating marketing processes, and I understood that such skills could help me reach a new level in my career. I agreed to this challenge and started learning Python. It was not an easy path, especially at first: it seemed to me that I did not understand anything, I went to all the lectures and classes. Gradually, apparently, my brain adapted, and the tasks began to seem less scary.

How I work with ChatGPT
Knowing ChatGPT helped me master Python. If I encountered difficulties, I would simply formulate a request and receive a response that would help me move forward. Over time, I learned how to create simple chatbots, and this was a real breakthrough for me. For example, I can already create a Telegram bot for a cosmetologist, which can include interesting moments from the history of cosmetology and a link to make an appointment. Now I am also exploring the possibilities of running Telegram channels, because I want to include this in my services.

I am currently working on different ChatGPT-based agents that can make a variety of tasks easier for businesses. For example, one agent can help create a content plan, another can conduct interviews to identify the target audience, and a third can analyze the results. My agents already help create content that takes into account the style and interests of a specific client. Each agent has a structure and step-by-step logic: first, I describe the goals, then the specific actions, and only then I formulate constraints and add the necessary documents. This allows the agent to create thoughtful and precise plans for social networks.

Creating agents requires a thorough approach. To enable the agent to create content in the desired style, I describe all the nuances in advance, including even preferences in the communication style. For me, for example, it is important that the texts have lightness and a bit of humor, so that everything looks natural. I also try to divide the processes into separate stages so that the agent works more precisely: one agent is responsible for the content plan, another for analyzing the target audience, and a third for writing posts. I am developing my Telegram channel , also not without the help of agents.

All this was a real discovery for me. I realized that neural networks can significantly simplify work and add an element of creativity to any routine tasks. For example, with the help of ChatGPT, you can set up a bot for a hotel that will answer guests' questions, providing information about the rules of stay or places worth visiting in the city. Such agents can be used in a variety of areas, and I am sure that this is just the beginning of my journey in the world of automation and creating intelligent assistants.
