The return to Paris I returned to Paris more motivated than ever and after a little detour through the paperwork and a great inspiration to give me courage, I launched myself as a freelancer . I was immediately drawn to the ecosystem of Parisian start-ups that I had already had the opportunity to get to know thanks to The Family.

First a fullstack developer, I quickly had the opportunity to manage projects and teams on projects mainly in ruby and python, which are still my favorite languages. In my free time, I started attending meetups focused on languages and communities that I liked . As a participant, then sometimes as a speaker (that's the picture of my very first meetup at the bottom!). The school's way of working in groups taught me that everyone can teach others something and these speaking engagements were telegram philippines girl a great opportunity for me to give back to the tech community the result of everything it brings me on a daily basis.

Banner of the very first meetup I spoke at It was during a meetup at Le Wagon in Paris, soberly titled “ WTF is DevRel? ” that the next twist in my story occurred. A tall American wearing a Stetson exchanged his card with me and told me to come to the meetup dedicated to the profession that he organizes, the DevRel Salon . He taught me a lot more about the environment and I met the French and travelers in Paris of the profession during his famous meetups. A few months later I found myself ensuring the continuity of our small DevRels salon , my American friend having been offered an opportunity abroad.

I felt more and more comfortable with the community and ready to try to find a job as a Developer Advocate . Hello Developers It was Clever Cloud , in the person of Laurent Doguin, who gave me the chance to join this French PaaS at the end of 2018 as a Developer Advocate . It was a real honor to work with such passionate and excellent people in their field and a great opportunity to meet the French developer community and not just Parisian ones. With them I also met a lot of French-speaking developers who are fans of Ruby and Python and I got involved in these different communities by translating documentation and helping to organize local events.
