What to choose: a group or a channel

One of the most frequently asked questions by our clients concerns what is better to create when preparing for promotion - a group or a Telegram channel.

It all depends on the company’s goals, objectives and resources.

A Telegram channel is a one-way communication between a company and its target audience.

Features of the telegram channel:

it allows you to deliver your message to a large number of subscribers. Moreover, their number is not limited, and they cannot interact with each other;
The Telegram channel administrator can usa consumer email list publish any messages, add and exclude participants, and close the channel at any time;
Subscribers can only read published materials, but not create posts;
high level of privacy (you cannot view other participants’ profiles);
members have access to the entire chat from the moment the channel is created;

Group members can access old chats. However, the administrator can restrict this feature for new users;
User activity can only be assessed by the number of those who participate in communication and news discussions. When someone joins a group, all participants see the notification, unless a special chatbot is used to delete such messages.
