What is UX?

Post by rochon.a1.119 »

For a few years now , the term UX has become part of our lives. Many companies demand profiles with this training and we can find it in many job offers, but what is UX really?

Its acronym stands for User Experience , user experience if we translate it into Spanish.

Nielsen Norman Group , a leading consultancy in the sector, defines it as:

User experience encompasses all aspects of end-user interaction with the company, its services and its products.

— Nielsen Norman Group

One of the most common confusions is to think that UX and switzerland mobile database usability are the same thing, however, usability is only a small part of the user experience.

Applied to the web environment, Peter Morville defined 7 facets on which UX analysis should be based:

Useful.

Usable.

Desirable.

Findable.

Accessible.

Credible.

Valuable.

But as we saw in the definition of UX, it not only applies to the web environment, but we must think about it whenever we are designing any service, system or product.

Now that we know what UX is, how about we understand what its value is?

Facts and figures to support user experience in marketing
Talking about marketing is not just about thinking about strategies, you also have to do numbers, talk about conversion, sales and, above all, profits.

If we remember the 7 facets of UX, we will see that they are closely linked to the field of marketing.

For example: for a site to be findable it has to be well positioned and linked to terms that define it correctly.
