In anticipation of the online conference “Modern Digital Office 2021” scheduled for March 30, 2021 , the editorial board of itWeek approached the conference speakers with a proposal to share their vision of the situation in the field of organizing remote work and transforming physical offices that is developing this year against the backdrop of the subsiding pandemic in Russia and talk about what topic the speaker is going to cover in his speech.

Here's what Timur Bigulov , Head of Sales for Small and Medium Business Clients, Kaspersky Lab, told us .

How do you assess the situation in the field of nepal mobile database and office work safety that is developing this year against the backdrop of the decline of the coronavirus pandemic in Russia?

In 2020, the world faced a situation that forced all office employees to work remotely. Both we and our customers faced new complex challenges. For example, we had to ensure the security of a new, very blurred corporate perimeter in the shortest possible time. We coped with it well and confidently went through the crisis period. Over the past year, many employers realized that employees do not have to be in the office to achieve excellent results. And now these companies are actively considering the introduction of a hybrid work scheme for a longer period.

After the first year of the pandemic, it is time to re-evaluate the technologies and methods for organizing remote work security that were urgently implemented at the beginning of the pandemic. What does the experience say?

Attempts by a number of our customers to create a security perimeter for remote machines using the usual office scheme have shown that it is long, expensive and difficult. Therefore, the current strategy is as follows: protect workstations, provide a secure data transfer channel and high-quality storage and processing of corporate resources on the company's servers. However, no matter how hard we try to protect computers, it is necessary to train employees in competent work with data and careful behavior on the Internet. I consider such training to be one of the most important areas in the short term.
