Start a blog if you want to build an empire

Post by Abdur12 »

A blog can be the start of your own empire. It may seem optimistic, but if you don't dare to think big, you'll never get anywhere.

Companies like Groupon started with a blog. Even though they are going through a difficult phase at the moment, they are still publicly traded companies that have turned their founders into billionaires.

There are thousands of people in many countries who, thanks to their existence, can pay their mortgages, gasoline, daycare and whatever else is needed.

An empire is not conquered overnight
The startup-focused website Techcrunch started out as a blog by its founder. It was sold to AOL , turning Michael Arrington into someone who already has to worry about money (the sale price is estimated at job phone numbers $25-50 million). The Huffington Post started out as a blog by author and columnist Arianna Huffington and now brings in around $1 million a month . We even have a Spanish version now .

They all started out blogging from their homes. At first they were alone, but as their audience grew, so did their income and they started hiring people. You have to dare to think big to achieve it. Maybe now you think that you can't achieve the small things you set out to do. Maybe that's the problem. Everything is possible if you dare to dream and don't give up when difficulties arise. What's certain is that not everything will turn out as planned. There are no guarantees of success in life, but if you don't try, you've already failed.

The important thing is not the details but that you start as soon as possible.
After the free “Course for bloggers” for young people actively looking for work last Friday in Madrid ( new edition in Barcelona on April 4th ) there were many participants who came to ask us questions. Many of them dealt with topics not as relevant as blog design. Beginners in the blogosphere sometimes let themselves be slowed down by issues that are really more than details. Time is money and you have to start as soon as possible.
