We humans are not becoming redundant
But no matter how you look at it: no matter how widely you deploy artificial intelligence and how automated your processes become as a result, you will always need people who do something meaningful with the data. People who can think creatively about actions and make decisions.
That is a comforting thought. We humans will not become redundant, the challenges will only change. It is important that we keep up with the pace at which technological changes are taking place, also within our organizational cultures. And that is still a challenging task, if you ask me.
Every day, far too much bread and other food is thrown away in the supermarket. That can be done differently! That's what entrepreneur Joris Beckers thought, he started a new online supermarket: Picnic. How is it possible that Picnic hardly throws away any bread? You'll hear the answer in this podcast.
Besides the fact that Picnic focuses on reducing food waste, there was another important reason to set up an online supermarket. "Everyone has to eat and everyone has to go to the supermarket.
