The main activity of the company "KS-PRO" is the provision of a range of technical customer services, including for large office developers. The company's portfolio of projects includes commercial and residential real estate of business and premium classes in Moscow.

The project implementation team includes many highly qualified specialists registered with the National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ) and the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY). Thanks to their extensive knowledge, the projects are delivered on time.

The implementation of G-Station in KS-PRO took place in November 2022. Before that, the company conducted an analysis of the market for existing project management software and considered about 7 platforms. Some solutions had shortcomings in the area of administration, others - in the area of data storage: instead of the usual tree-like structure of folders, specialized types of documents were implemented that could not be changed.

Ultimately, KS-PRO chose G-Station, since the platform structure completely repeated the popular Autodesk BIM 360 solution previously used by the company. Even despite the fact that at the time of implementation, G-Station had not yet implemented all the functionality necessary for business processes, present in BIM 360.

G-Station is one of the modules of the comprehensive G-Tech Suite platform.

Implementation of a new platform in just 1 month
The process of implementing the G-Station transition took about 1 month. At the same time, work on the implementation of current projects did not slow down: everything happened in stages.

First, all projects were divided into categories, then assigned different levels of importance, and then the transfer of the highest priority group began. The KS-PRO team was assisted in this by specialists from the BIM Academy. Transferring one project to the new system took from 1 to 2 days. At the same time, first, a backup of data from the Autodesk BIM 360 account was made in the shortest possible time, and then all information, including data files and metadata, was transferred to the G-Station account. Then the joint team of KS-PRO and BIM Academy specialists managed to transfer only the main documentation files while preserving the folder structure. But at the moment, company representatives note a significant expansion of the platform's functionality. For example, all the main tools for working with comments and approvals have been added.

As a result, G-Station really became a good alternative to BIM 360. KS-PRO specialists got access to a full-fledged unified information environment with cloud storage of files and models, as well as such features as:

Project, user and contractor management
Creating checklists
Creating checklist templates with approval processes
Transfer of documentation to the construction site
View 3D and 2D models with comments

All subcontractors of KS-PRO also work with the G-Station platform. The company provides licenses on its own behalf, after which the subcontractors independently connect to the platform. At the moment, there are 300 active licenses.
