Few of us are professional bloggers and we don't have unlimited time to publish posts. The dilemma many writers have is whether they should focus on quality or quantity.

I'm not the first one to discuss this question in a post, but I'm probably the one who will give a different answer than the others. Just yesterday I received a feedback from one of the blog subscribers who criticized that the quality of some posts had dropped and that I should focus more on quality than quantity of posts. I've been mulling this over and it has inspired me to write this post.

In theory, it seems like a simple answer for most people. “You have to focus on quality.” Maybe a year ago I would have answered the same without hesitation. Back then it was an easy answer and I probably journalist contact database wouldn’t have written about it since I don’t bring a different point of view to the matter. Let’s analyze point by point the advantages and disadvantages of each of the options.
Advantages of publishing with high frequency on a blog
To make a more “objective” analysis, one cannot rule out either option from the start. Publishing content at a frequency of at least 5 posts per week can have a negative impact on quality because there is less time to prepare each one. Even so, the positive effects cannot be ruled out.
Positive impact on SEO : a higher frequency of content updates on a website is a positive signal for search engines and consequently helps to obtain better positioning.
Improving your writing : Writing better is also a matter of training. I am still far from having a good style, but if I compare it with my posts from a year ago, there is a significant difference in quality.
Greater dissemination of your content : regardless of the quality, a higher frequency of publication brings more visits to the blog. This also increases the number of comments and mentions on social networks.
