Setting up IFC4 export
The model is now ready for export, but before you click the "Export to IFC" button, you need to perform one more very important step - specify which sets of properties, parameters or calculation characteristics will be used when exporting data for a particular type of object.

Mapping
To map parameters, user properties and calculated characteristics of Renga and IFC models, a function called mapping is used.

All the rules of this process are described in the parameter display file in JSON format. When exporting a model to IFC4, Renga accesses this file and performs the export according to the described rules. The path to this file can be specified in the program settings in the "Export" menu.

When you purchase Renga, you receive a pre-built mapping file "export_attr_qto_pset.json" that will be used for default exports.

However, this file is only suitable for general cases of data export to IFC4 format. In case of phone number kuwait preparing a model for state examination, you will need to prepare your own display file according to the rules of state examination.

Error log
During the IFC model export process, a log is created to record any errors that occur. It is created in the same export folder and has a name identical to the model file. A log without errors will only contain the date it was created.

In conclusion, we would like to note another Renga function that works automatically when exporting a model to IFC and helps to solve the problem of collisions: all objects of the model are exported taking into account collisions that occur when interacting with other objects in Renga. This refers to the interaction between the elements of the structure.

How to prepare CIM for examination
Export to IFC taking into account the cropping of objects will help to avoid collisions caused by the intersection of structural elements of the building. However, it does not replace the model check in specialized programs (RusBIMExpert, Solibri Model Checker, Navisworks, etc.), which may be required by some organizations conducting the examination.
