In line for the best social media awards ceremony

Post by Bappy11 »

“Creativity is extra important in these dark days and we are super proud to give these nominations the stage they deserve. We see brands and agencies from previous years scoring well again, but there are also many newcomers. It is nice to see that a lot changes every year in the nominations and the type of content. This year, for example, we see a lot of love for strong community management and influencer campaigns are no longer new, but are really an important part of the nominated cases.”

As a newbie in the world of online events, I was fully prepared for the show. After all, they promised (maybe) fireworks, cats on unicycles and herres in the announcement . A number of nominees were already ready for it before the live event (with me):

Videoland shocks with fur
Videoland has won two awards for the striking campaign surrounding the launch of the documentary fax lists Bont Girl. Best launch and best positive impact.

Famke posted a post on her Instagram channel with the text 'Which fur suits me #shopping'. In the photo you see Famke walking past a huge amount of fur. This post supposedly refers to her new clothing line. Following this post, Famke was all over the media. With her almost one million followers, this news spread like wildfire. A flood of negative reactions followed. Fans said they found her 'disgusting' and no longer wanted to be her fan.
