The Hummingbird Update

Post by sakib40 »

In 2013, Google launched a new algorithm called Hummingbird, which would revolutionize the way queries are made through search engines.

The main change with this algorithm was the introduction of semantic fax lists context, which would allow Google to interpret user queries differently.

In this way, it's no longer just about understanding words in general, but rather about understanding the search intent behind those words and being able to understand the colloquial and natural language of internet users.

This has meant changes in the way Content Marketing is done , as the way of writing and SEO have had to undergo changes so that this new algorithm takes them into account.

This has benefited voice searches, as people often use conversational, informal tones when searching, giving them greater confidence when making a query.

Over time, Google learns not only about colloquialisms, but also about accents and patterns in how users speak, so results become more accurate and faster.
