Setting Up Alerts: Getting Started

Access the Alerts & Notifications section from the main menu, and select Create New Alert Rule. You can name the rule for easy identification and specify the asset or group of assets it applies to.

Next, define the trigger criteria—for example, “Notify me when speed exceeds 80 mph,” or “Alert if engine temperature rises above 100°C.” TelemaData supports complex rules that combine multiple conditions using AND/OR logic, allowing for highly specific monitoring tailored to your operation’s needs.

Customizing Notification Channels and Recipients
