Russia is destroying Ukraine's economy. What should we do?



The IMF Board of Directors approved a $2.2 billion loan tranche for Ukraine. The Fund lowered its forecast for Ukrainian GDP growth from 3-4% to 2.5-3.5%. The reason is attacks on energy infrastructure and power outages, migration of citizens, and labor outflow, including those related to mobilization.

The GDP growth forecast for 2025 has been similarly lowered – from 6.5% to 5.5%. The reason is the destruction of our state's energy capacities by the aggressor.
