Listen to interesting podcasts

Post by Arzina699 »

Workations are particularly popular because of their exclusive setting (they often take place at exclusive locations where you yourself would not quickly go on holiday), sparring with a small group of like-minded people and the chance to be completely disconnected from working life at home. These types of working holidays come in different forms, for example there are coworking breaks but also workations where you work on a specific theme. For example, this autumn we are organising a workation in the Algarve with (personal) branding as the theme.

Learn from others
A small spoiler: your personal branding is never finished. All experiences and learning moments that you go through contribute to a strong personal brand. And the stronger your brand, the better your market value. It is therefore important to learn new things and continue to develop yourself. On the one hand, this has to do with getting better at your job, and on the other hand with your own personal development. Especially during the summer, you can trigger yourself to try out new things. Take a look at the five ideas below.

1. Read a biography of an inspiring person
It may be tempting to start reading the latest bouquet novel during your holiday. However, reading a biography can be both relaxing and inspiring. After all, not all valuable life lessons are learned from your own experience. Fortunately, we can learn from enough inspiring people and their life lessons. In biographies, writers share the ups and downs of successful entrepreneurs such as Coco Chanel and Steve Jobs. How did they use their strengths to achieve success? How did they ensure that they did not lose sight of their goal while remaining true to their own values? What did they do to distinguish themselves? All important issues that are discussed in personal branding. Very educational! These are 10 popular biographies that should definitely not be missing from your reading list this summer!

The only requirement is that you've never done it before. You might discover strengths in yourself that you didn't know you knew. This way you learn to push your boundaries and step out of your comfort zone. That's why you can take a look at this list of summer sports for inspiration .

3. Visit cultural places
Skip a day at the beach or swimming pool to visit a museum, exhibition or other cultural hotspot. It enriches your worldview and teaches you to look at things in different ways. This stimulates your creativity, which is useful for solving difficult problems. Would you rather go on a day trip in your own country to gain inspiration? These are the 10 most popular cultural excursions in the Netherlands.
