European Ecommerce Conference 2014 arrives in Bilbao

The Spanish Association for Digital Economy (adigital) will hold the European Ecommerce Conference (EEC14) on November 19 and 20. This is the eighth edition and is called “Exploring the Digital Revolution” and will bring us the latest news from companies that are exploring the digital world both in Europe and in the rest of the world. We have been invited as bloggers to this event and that is why we will try to tell you about the advances that these companies present to us before, during and after the event, their business models and the vision of each of the members of these leading companies in the digital world. From Bilbao to the World
The companies that will be present at the Euskalduna conference and that are leading the digital transformation are Uber, Mobli, AirBnB and SoundCloud, to name a few. Speakers will include Niall Wass from Uber , Moshe Hogeg bolivia telegram phone numbers from Mobli , Patrick Robinson from AirBNB , Juan Pablo Puerta from SoundCloud , Gilt and Alexander Rose from The Long Now Foundation .

Uber is the mobile application that connects drivers with users who need to travel from one place to another in an urban area (and which has caused panic in the taxi sector in many places in Europe because it attacks its traditional way of working, something that has already happened with the world of cinema or music on the other hand). In the case of Spain and specifically Barcelona, the Generalitat is sanctioning drivers for unfair competition with taxi drivers. From our point of view, collaborative consumption and the Internet predict the success of Uber, we see it difficult to stop this. As we said, this network currently operates in almost 200 cities in 40 countries: from the USA to Switzerland or South Africa. Uber will present its business model at #EECBilbao.
Airbnb will also be there , having already been to the EEC in 2011 and we will count on them again at #EEC14, half a year after receiving their second round of funding (which seems to have reached $475M according to CrunchBase). Buatxabal!
On the other hand , Mobli is a social network that competes with Instagram and has already reached 12 million users and will present its peculiarities. This social network has recently received an investment of $60 million from America Móvil, owned by Carlos Slim, which means that it has a very interesting future.
