“Mary Poppins”: I have seen it at least a dozen times. It is a beautiful musical film, a comedy for all ages, and although many years have passed since its appearance on the big screen, it is still relevant.

Mary Poppins' oft-repeated concept, "Never judge a india phone number list thing by its appearance," sets me on an introspective journey today as it did many years ago, when I first saw it as a child on the classic Christmas TV schedule.

This extraordinary nanny who fell from heaven, who says things by singing, but who knows how to be resolute and charmingly over the top when necessary, is an inspiring muse. Now that I am the mother of two teenagers, I also see it as a good starting point for analyzing the theme of educational models, the role of parents and expectations towards children in the family.
