When you include a link to an external page in your content, you are adopting Google's philosophy that "there is a lot of interesting information on the web to share."

But why should you take people away from your page with external and internal links?

Linking to external content increases trust in your dbtodata text . Whenever you include statistics or want to support a claim you are making, linking to an authoritative source can support your argument.
Using internal links, you can guide users through the customer journey and direct them to pages that will convert. You can also link to other content that develops the idea you are presenting. This will demonstrate that you are a valid source of quality content, which can encourage the reader to spend more time on your site.
Tip: Make sure the external link opens in a new window to avoid distractions from your text.

17. Include CTA (Call to action)
Your SEO copywriting has a purpose: to guide users through the customer journey. But if you don’t tell people how to proceed, they simply won’t.

This is why Call to Action (CTAs) are a key part of your copy. However, you can't just drop a "Buy My Service/Product" button on your page and expect conversions.

Remember when we mentioned the term "search intent"? If users come to your page with informational intent, provide them with information-rich content and only then include a CTA that takes them to another keyword-oriented page with navigational intent, and so on.

From a copywriting perspective, this will improve your text conversions and content ROI. From an SEO perspective, you could improve your page views, reduce bounce rates, and send positive user engagement signals to Google.

Tip: Include multiple CTAs throughout your text because readers may not read the entire page. Place the first one after a few opening paragraphs, another halfway down the page, and another toward the end.
