The weapons of persuasion in practice

Post by ahbappy250 »

What does the cold buyer (who doesn't know you) do, almost always, before buying on Amazon or on an eCommerce or before filling out a contact request form? He informs himself about the seller, reads the reviews of the product or service, sees if he can get a discount by subscribing to the newsletter, then he leaves the site and then maybe searches for you and starts all over again; an infinite loop of people who do this!

Analyzing various sites I realized that users are often db center whatsapp number at the mercy of buying panic, they are afraid that it is a scam or that the product is rubbish or that their credit card details will be stolen and 1000 other silly fears that delay the sale and lengthen the funnel !

The solution would be to be able to shorten the funnel as much as possible and to shorten it we must persuade and guide the user to conversion with strategic and dynamic communication that at certain points of the site speaks to the user and tries to convince him to go to the next step.

For example: from the product page of an eCommerce you try to take it to the cart and from the cart to the checkout to end with the purchase and then maybe a nice up or cross-selling.

How to do strategic communication
To make strategic communication we must use the 6 weapons of persuasion, not randomly but with a sense of cause.

We must become communication ninjas and use the right weapon to hit the right target.

Let me give you an example: if you have an eCommerce with a lot of traffic, you could show how many users are viewing the product or how many have already purchased it by leveraging social proof.

Heyroads - Social proof and FOMO Dynamic Notifications tool
Or by showing the verified Trust Budge which leverages social proof but also a little on the principle of authority .

eShoppingAdvisor in a nutshell is the Tripadvisor of eCommerce.

A budget like this certainly gives an extra push to those who are already inclined to purchase, they know that here they buy in complete safety and by clicking on it they can compare with those who have already purchased and read the reviews.
