Information security (IS) is given the most serious attention these days. Especially when it comes to IS in data centers, where a single compromise can immediately affect the business of many of their clients. Huawei has many IS solutions in its arsenal, and one of them, including the USG9000v distributed firewall, is designed specifically for data center owners.
The approach to organizing an information italy mobile database system that implements this solution is relatively new. It is becoming increasingly relevant as data centers become larger and attract a significant number of clients with volumes of big data that are critical to their business. Already today, according to statistics, 76% of global network traffic passes inside data centers, another 7% between data centers, and only 17% outside them.
Over the five years from 2011 to 2016, global traffic to cloud data centers grew at an average rate of 31% year on year, and already in 2014 exceeded the volume of traffic associated with traditional data centers. As of 2016, 64% of all data center traffic in the world (4.3 ZB) was accounted for by cloud installations of this type, and only 36% (2.3 ZB) by traditional ones.
And this is far from the limit. In 2020, almost simultaneously with the start of widespread adaptation of the 5G cellular standard, an explosive increase in the growth rate of machine-to-machine communications (M2M) is expected. The Internet of Things, already quite developed today, will generate traffic in truly unfathomable volumes. However, the traditional "Internet of People" is unlikely to slow down its development: it is worth taking a look at how data is turning into "new oil" before our eyes.
This is exactly what we need
