Nike also knocks this out of the park. Instead of a clean, simple, and minimalist solution, Nike uses a hero image with a main headline. It shows an image of what’s in your cart, as well as a reminder of the company’s free shipping policy.
What we love most is the “YOU MAY ALSO LIKE” section. This is a great strategy to attract people back to your website.

Rotate
Revolve does a nice job of representing its brand in this abandoned cart email example. The calls to action have different text, but are rendered the same way – white on black rectangles – and you can see what you left in the cart.
4. J.Crew
J.Crew
We like J.Crew's classy approach. In addition to letting the customer know there are items in their shopping cart, there are also CTAs for other pages on the site in case the consumer might want to check out new arrivals, fall finds, or looks they love at J.Crew.
5. Reebok
Reebok
Reebok takes a tough love approach with the tagline “Make No Excuses.” It works here for the brand and its audience. There’s an immediate call to action that you can view, but if you scroll down, you’ll see items in the abandoned cart, plus a subtle call to action to continue shopping and a bolder one to check out.
6 Nordstrom
Nordstrom
The question is a great headline among abandoned cart email examples. It works here for Nordstrom in a funky scenario. We also like the “Did You Know” and “Free Shipping/Free Returns” alerts at the bottom. You’ll notice the line that conveys urgency: “our favorite look is selling out fast.” This is a great tip for consumers to check out quickly.
7. Bonobos
Bonobos
We could add a photo of the image left in the cart, but the number tells the consumer how many items are there. However, Bonobos mint database compensates for the omission of the product image by offering a special coupon code aimed at the new customer.
8. Custom mail
Custom post
This email from Custom Post caught our attention because of the copy at the top: “Congratulations! You’re eligible for free shipping!” That’s a great way to hook readers. Otherwise, it’s a pretty simple email with a “View Cart” call to action. It’s always best to include product images, but simplicity can help with conversions.
9. Mango
Mango
This is one of the few examples of abandoned carts we’ve seen that leads with urgency. The message here is crystal clear: “Finish your order before they’re gone!” Mango includes not only a product image, but also the size the consumer chose, color, quantity, and price. Their high-contrast, repetitive CTAs work to Mango’s advantage.
