Prepare texts according to the structure

Post by suchona.kani.z »

Now you have a map created. You will be able to clearly see what is important on the website, what belongs where, and you will prepare the path along which you want to lead customers to conversion.

3. Contents
It's time to set out on your journey with a map. You can think of copywriting as a guide. It's something that tells you where to go, what plants are poisonous, and that you shouldn't irritate snakes.

In the previous step, you designed the scope and content of the texts. Part of copywriting also includes keyword analysis. (Logically – you need a jungle guide now, not a restaurant guide in Barcelona). Don't forget to also create personas (customer models) so you know who you are talking to in the texts.

Why do you need to write texts now? Wouldn't it be enough to fill in “Lorem Ipsum”? Because if you do that, the texts won't fit the graphics or, worse, won't actually say anything . Content is the most important fantuan database building block of a website. Content ultimately sells . Imagine content as a person who just dresses up in some graphics and code. Would you want to talk to a person who has nothing to say?

Even respected Czech copywriter Roman Hřebecký says that anyone who uses lorem ipsum is simply slacking off, watch his lecture and see for yourself:

4. Wireframes and graphics
Or you simply can't travel without proper equipment.

Once you have the texts ready, give them to a graphic designer or designer to design wireframes and insert the texts into them. A wireframe shows the layout of the elements on the page. It is then a basis for the coder to decide where to put the logo, buttons, etc.

Wireframe

Nothing is definitive, the texts can of course be edited and changed continuously , but they better fulfilled the goals of the pages. Once you are satisfied with the structure of the wireframes, start creating graphics. Wireframes form a kind of template, it is much easier to change individual elements in them . The graphic designer can then focus only on the aesthetic side of things.
