In addition to real estate, electronic signatures have begun to be used more actively in a variety of areas by companies of different sizes - from large corporations to small and medium businesses. For example, today EPs are used in the banking sector, tourism, insurance, automobile business, repair and production, the hospitality industry - and this is only a small part of the areas that are transferring document flow to electronic form. Electronic document exchange can be implemented in any area of business. Depending on the documents that an organization has to sign with its counterparties, it can use different services, which, in turn, can issue different types of electronic signatures.
The sphere of electronic signature in Russia is regulated by Federal Law No. 63 "On Electronic Signature". The law provides for three types of electronic signature: simple and two types of enhanced signatures - unqualified and qualified. Each type of signature has its own tasks. A simple electronic signature (SES) is suitable for confirming some simple actions, for example, for registration on websites. This type of signature can be expressed both in one-time digital codes and in checkboxes on websites; login and password can also be SES.
Enhanced types of EP are more reliable and cameroon mobile database suitable for document exchange. They are created using a cryptographic information protection system (CIPF), which cannot be hacked. Also, after signing, the document cannot be changed unilaterally. Enhanced qualified electronic signature (EQES) is more often used in business processes where there is interaction between the company and government agencies, for example, for entering documents into government registers: registration of property rights in Rosreestr, registration of legal entities or individual entrepreneurs. The process of issuing this type of signature is strictly regulated by law. EQES can only be obtained in person with a representative of a certification center accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, and this is a more expensive type of EP. For classic EDI in the B2B segment, it is an enhanced qualified electronic signature that is used.
The golden mean in the digitalization of business processes is the use of an enhanced unqualified electronic signature (UNES), on the basis of which B2C services operate. An enhanced unqualified electronic signature can be issued both with and without a certificate. When issuing the first type of signature, a third party, a certification authority, is involved in the user identification process, and in the case of issuing an UNES without a certificate, the user is identified by the company issuing the signature to its clients or employees. The implementation of UNES will help to digitize most routine documents of any business in Russia, from signing any contracts with clients to the complete digitalization of personnel document flow.
