What does this mean for you?
Google PageSpeed Insights can be helpful, but you can’t use it alone to evaluate your site’s performance. You need to use multiple metrics to identify and resolve issues.
The Google Pages Speed Insights tool is powered by Lighthouse and provides both “Lab Data” and “Live Data” for your pages. “Lab Data” is collected in a controlled environment while scanning your pages, and is a great way to identify performance issues and find solutions to fix them. “Live Data”, on the other hand, is collected from real performance data when users load your pages. Some issues and obvious bottlenecks that make it harder for your real visitors to convert may show up here.
In short, the tool shows you a performance score out of 100. However, the performance metric results used to calculate this score are weighted differently. Instead, things like First Contentful Paint (the first time algeria mobile database something appears to the user) have a much bigger impact.
But you won't see any of that. You'll see the performance score reported and the color will depend on which partition it falls into. As reported:
Red (low score): 0-49
Orange (average): 50-89
Green (good): 90-100
