CNOOC announces the start of production of Panyu OilfieldPanyu

The project is located in the eastern waters of the South China Sea, with an average water depth of about meters. The main production facilities are a new wellhead platform and an unmanned wellhead platform, and it is planned to put development wells into production. It is expected that the peak production will reach about , barrels of oil equivalent per day in , and the oil products will be medium and heavy crude oil.
The newly built unmanned wellhead platform of the project is equipped with the "Typhoon Production Mode" and intelligent heavy oil processing system, which effectively improves production safety and operational efficiency. In addition, the newly built wellhead platform is connected to the Panyu active platform via a trestle, enabling the sharing of facilities and equipment and effectively reducing oilfield development costs.
Since its production in , Panyu Oilfield has produced more than million barrels of crude oil and has built a smart oilfield group that integrates digitalization, intelligence and unmanned operations.
