Social benefits for children under 7 years old

Post by monira444 »

Since the beginning of 2023, instead of numerous payments for children, a single benefit has been assigned. And although the transition period with the possibility of choosing the previous conditions of state support will continue for some time, parents are already trying to understand the new rules. Let's see what benefits children under 7 can still apply for, and which ones they can no longer count on.

What benefits are due to children under 7 years of age?
Today, their parents can receive a new single benefit instead of the many payments that were previously accrued. At the same time, families with children under one and a half years old can still choose the benefit that is convenient for them: the benefit assigned for child care up to 1.5 years old or the single benefit. It is not possible to apply for both payments at once.

As for the single benefit, the rules for its calculation are in list of mobile number database many ways similar to the procedure for processing payments for children aged 3 to 7 years, which is valid until 2023. But the measures of state support for a family with a child under 3 years of age have changed significantly.

Instead of which payments for children under 7 years old can you now receive a single benefit:

For children under one and a half years of age for non-working parents.

For the first child under 3 years old, the benefit was previously assigned from the budget.

For the second child under 3 years of age, payments were made by the Pension Fund from maternity capital funds until 2023.

For the third and subsequent children under 3 years of age, money was previously paid from the budget in 76 regions of Russia according to individual rules for each of them.

For a child aged 3 to 7 years.

The single child benefit is intended to replace this entire list of state support measures. And it will require a comprehensive assessment of needs. An exception will be made only for parents of a child born before 31.12.2022 - they will be able to choose between the old and new conditions during the transition period. Everyone else will have to understand the amended rules.
