The constant search for effective and innovative solutions to problems inherent to the functioning of the Municipal Government of Aracaju (PMA) is one of the focuses of the Municipal Secretariat of Planning, Budget and Management (Seplog). In this sense, a Document Management program is already underway , which works with the perspective of preserving the important historical collection related to the employees, which will now receive professional treatment, with the respective digitalization, eliminating the risks of damage such as floods and fires. In addition to preserving the important collection, the initiative, developed by a company that won a specific bid, provides a saving of approximately R$ 45 thousand/month.
Before this process, the municipal administration spent around R$78,000/month on renting warehouses, supplies and 13 employees involved in this activity. With the adoption of Document Management by a bahamas mobile database specialized company, costs are around R$33,000/month, with the guarantee of immediate access to data and records of active and inactive employees from a proprietary system that is also offered by the company.
Fernanda Moura, this is an important achievement, since these documents are essential elements for the employees’ working lives, possible post-retirement legal proceedings, and for the history of the PMA’s staff. “Thanks to Mayor Edvaldo Nogueira’s management vision, we are able to incorporate an achievement that will become a legacy for the municipal administration. It was a torture to meet the demands of our Attorney General’s Office, for example, searching through piles of documents and without the participation of professionals trained in Document Management. Today, it is gratifying to see the organization and professional storage of this collection that is the history of our municipal administration,” highlighted the coordinator.
